1959 Tour-a-Home

This great little camper is very well built. While you may not recognize the name at most trailer events. This manufacturer was known for their Mobile Homes. They made these smaller trailers for their customers that know quality. In the photos, you will notice the larger wood frame. This trailer is like a rock! While it is a little more heavy than other trailers of the same size. This trailer has held up very well. Our shop has completely removed the roof rot and you can not tell the new from the old. We did replace the panel repair work the owners father had done from the inside. Thus, restoring the original look. We did a sweet job matching the color on the walls. We are about ready to wrap up this project and will post finished photos soon.

Chassis Removal and Repair

The wood undercarriage had to be replaced. The chassis was in good shape and was blasted and painted along with a new axle with brakes.

This Beautiful project has come to a end and has gone home with its family. It was a wonderful and beautiful preservation that this family will enjoy for many years to come. We have posted many photos to show the many stages that this trailer has gone through. This project took about 9 months to complete. Our shop tends to work on two or more trailers at the same time and at some times. We do send parts out for repairs or are waiting on parts to come in. You will agree that this trailer is well worth the wait!
